New Project of Haram Shareef,New Construction Plan for Khana Kaba 2020

King ABDULLAH of Saudia Arabia is reviewing multiple expansion plan of KABA/HARAM SHAREEF (MACCA) which can expand the capacity of pilgrims to hold 5m worshipers in one go. One leaked plan by Atkins , the British architect company show an Ottoman era section of Haram Mosque replaced by a multi-story prayer hall , boosting capacity from 900,000 worshipers now to more than 3m.All the buildings around would be replaced by a great set of buildings other than KABBA. Its cost is up to £ 13bn.
Norman Foster and Zaha Hadid are involved in plan to transform the landscape  around Mecca, Islam's holiest city to make way for a high-rise metropolis complete with high-speed rail link for pilgrims.
